Surelock Table Latch


INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. SureLock InstructionsLay finished tables-face down, side-by-side and end-to-end, (protect finished faces of tables with a blanket or cardboard).
  2. Position template at junction of tables with table edge depicted on template lined with the actual front edges of tables.
  3. Using a sharp object, punch the "+" marks in the template which indicate the Sure Lock hold centers. Punch through the template marking the hole centers on the tables.
  4. Remove template and drill pilot holes to accommodate screws (recommend #10 pan-head Phillips screws - see note on screws below).
  5. Position latches so center holes in tables are lined up and screw latches into place. Always position a male latch against a female.
  6. Repeat steps 2 through 5 where rear edges are lines up.

NOTE: You should always have a female and male latch on each table, positioned so that the female latch on one table is opposite a male latch on the other table.

Use #10-1" Hex Head or Pan Head screws for tops 1¼ and thicker.
Use #10-¾" Hex Head or Pan Head screws for tops 1" thick.

  • Mount W/NO. 12x1" flex washer head sheet metal screw.
  • Mount Sure Lock & Adjust as required using sloted holes.
  • After adjusting, tighten down & put 1 screw in holes "A" & "B" to anchor plates.
  • If field adjustment is required remove screw. A & B if required - loosen adjust lock - put screw in holes C & D/or E & F to anchor lock.
  • Locks can be adjusted 2 times in field.
